Hello, I'm Dandy! I'm here today to introduce to a lil' project of mine. This is my passion project, The Weathering Willows: a 2D platformer game with a gameplay emphasis on momentum, physics, exploration, and changing seasons! The story focuses on a mixture of nature vs. industrialization and the corporate world, adventure, and so much more: all bundled into one wacky little package!

.. I admittedly don't have enough ready to show off much to the public as is, but I will post about the project occasionally (mainly posting music) and I'd like to introduce you to the main cast! of characters you'll be meeting!

ANTONIO

Age: 9
Strong Point: He’s very easygoing and tends to treat people in friendly ways.
Weak Point: He’s too naive for his own good, can’t communicate with words and is very light.
Likes: Spending time with friends, sundaes, games
Dislikes: Tears, bugs, heights

A carefree and naive pumpkin. He’s happy to help with whatever he can, constantly striving for fun. Some question what’s under that pumpkin shell of his, though…

VERONICA "SOLA" SOLSTICIO

Age: 16
Strong Point: She’s insanely confident, always the first to hop into danger and take challenges on.
Weak Point: Her confidence is sometimes misplaced, and she gets very distracted on occasion.
Likes: Thrills, nature, jogs, fresh salad, messing with Ingvar
Dislikes: Temperatures under 40 degrees, tedious & repetitive tasks

A loud, assertive, and free-spirited tomboy. There’s rarely ever a moment where she wants a rest, Sola is nearly always pumped and ready for adventure! She’s generally the most wild and confident of the group.

INGVAR SOLSTICIO

Age: 22
Strong Point: Although not the most street-smart, he is a knowledgeable person especially when it comes to explosives.
Weak Point: He’s very rude and emotionally driven, not exactly a social type.
Likes: Bombs, calm and chill areas, drinks
Dislikes: Sola, authority figures, temperatures above 40 degrees

An often tired, hotheaded snowman. He’s been dragged into this adventure by his younger sister Sola, but he yearns to sit and relax. He also isn’t afraid to give people a piece of his mind, for better or for worse.

PRISCILLA LAVIGNE

Age: 19
Strong Point: She’s good at getting a plan set up and is the most professional of the group. She tends to be the one to keep the group in check.
Weak Point: She never takes a break and burns herself out easily, struggling to stay energized without the help of her crew.
Likes: Tap dancing, music, the sweet parts of life
Dislikes: Loud noise, pointless and intrusive distractions, the scent of oil

A workaholic bee who heavily prioritizes logic and preparation. Priscilla is usually the busiest of the crew, constantly working to deal with tasks. Some say she only gets 3 to 5 hours of sleep, talk about dedication!

Over this adventure you'll also meet a lot of new and fun faces, you'll get to learn more about that as time passes along though!
